Fibreglass Logic received an order through the Treble Group in Cape town to build 5x Formula 1 Racing simulators. The drawings and designs were done via the Treble group and issued to Fibreglass Logic for manufacturing.

The process is 3-fold namely:

Pattern making
All the parts were manufactured out of wood and foam and finished to the detail of the design.

Mould making
Once all the pattern-making parts were done, we started with the mould-making from the patterns.

Final products
Once the moulds were formed from the patterns, the moulds were stripped from the patterns and the patterns got destroyed in the process. The actual fibreglass parts were manufactured in the moulds. Once the parts have been cured, it comes out of the mould, trimmed, finished off, gets assembled and painted . The actual moulds can be used several times over and over.

Fibreglass Logic together with the Treble group is proud to have been involved in this project and manufactured 5x Formula 1 Racing Simulators of which four were exported to four different countries and one remained in South Africa.
